Please follow the written directions below to arrive at California Cavern quickly and safely. 

DIRECTIONS

--- From Sacramento Metro Area---

Take hwy 16 (Jackson Rd) East toward Jackson. Turn right on hwy 49 through Drytown , Sutter Creek. Turn left onto 49 S/88E. Continue to follow hwy 49s for 18 miles until San Andreas. Turn left on Mountain Ranch Rd for 9 miles then a sharp right onto Michel Rd for 1 mile. Turn left on Cave City Rd. Follow for 3 miles to California Cavern.

----From Stockton Metro Area ---

Take 99 N to exit hwy 12/Kettleman Ln. Turn right onto E. Kettleman Ln for 5 miles. Take left onto 88 E for 9 miles continuing straight on hwy 12 E/ 12 W for 24 miles to San Andreas. Turn left on Mountain Ranch Rd for 9 miles then a sharp right onto Michel rd for 1 mile. Turn left on Cave City Rd. Follow for 3 miles to California Cavern.
